Archie Braddock with a recently caught Tench of 9lb 8oz and we are delighted to be able to re-release by popular demand Archie Braddock’s ‘Mega Tench’ spice blend. This gained a huge following a few years back and we are delighted to be able to offer you exactly the same blend again. Incredibly complex blend of spices and essential oils for adding to groundbaits, maggots, stick mixes, meat in fact the only limit is your imagination!

The Tench, this is another beautiful and important fish in the waters. Often an indicator of good water quality, I enjoy every shot and immortalized by pretty pictures. I’m a fan of these colors and dreams of reaching tench weights appprochant the carp. This is so beautiful congratulations for this socket. Thanks to these blends that I like (Mega Mega spicy carp or ….) to sticks or on a feeder mixture prepared in advance. Again congratulations for this socket.

I find it so sad so many other anglers moan about Tench. I had a picture sent me yesterday to put onto the British Carp Study Group site from a friend of mine holding a Tench of 11lb 8oz (unfortunately not on Quest Baits) from Korda Lake the B.C.S.G. water. That picture had me spending more time looking at it than any carp has for a while now.
Tench are very special when they reach these sort of weights. It isn’t so long ago that another angler I know caught the U.K.’s first double figure Tench. Saying it isn’t that long ago thinking about it it was the early ’80′s but it doesn’t seem very long ago.
Our very own Ron Key has caught some very big tench.
