Whilst we are waiting for the accompanying pellet for the newly launched Chilli Chocolate boilies, it ocurred to me that I need something to give a little ‘boost’ to my hook bait and I generally like to have something mirroring my free offerings as closely as possible. With the aid of a Korda Krusha, about 30 15mm Chilli Chocolate shelf life baits and approx 20ml of the Chilli Chocolate glug, you can easily make a lovely little mix thats ideal for a small PVA parcel.
I like to use a small PVA ‘meltie’ as I call them, on every cast. Not only do they add massive attraction to your hookbait, they aid anti tangling and protect your hook point from weed, silt and gravel etc.
Heres how I do mine:
Crush the Boilies using the Korda Krusha to a mix of fine powder and slightly bigger particles. Place them in a small tupperware box.
Add a generous Glug of Chilli Chocolate Glug (not bolie dip).
Stir in with a tablespoon, place the lid on the box and shake for a couple of minutes.
Now you should have a lovely dark, moist, glugged mix ready for fishing.
Use a table small spoon to put the mix into your PVA, it stops wastage and mess
Do your best not to eat these yourself, they smell that good. Hook it on and go catch a Carp!
One things for sure, Ill be casting three of these out on Tuesday night, heres hoping….
All the best
Spencer
