A forum for carp fishing can be exchanged and what could be more positive than to bring his knowledge, his experience on the Quest baits products to visitors. This is a rewarding experience for both members of Team for people who stop at the booth. All Products Quest Baits are the result of a work of research, years of experience in the field of bait that Shaun Harrison will explain much better than me. When development in product distribution Quest baits in most countries this is a matter of time. For those who want quality baits and tested by experienced people should not hesitate but eventually try to adopt. Congratulations to the team present in Zwolle.
Looking forward Romu

Hi Bev
Unfortunately Lords is one of the few Angling Lines waters I have not visited. A couple of my mates have fished Lords on different occasions. Their advice was Rahja Spice as Shaun suggested but they both did particularly with Chilli Chocolate.

I can also support Shauns suggestion of P Line Extrusion. I discovered it a few years ago on a trip to Texas and have used its exclusively for my carp fishing ever since

Good Luck at Lords and don't ignore the left hand margin of the lake

Cheers Ron

Laroussi lake is a very technical. Small bait along with a mini seeds are apparently the preferences of our dear on this carp pond. The importance of the placement of the assembly is also important because the fish are filter feeders at very precise locations. The assembly also will be important because in any doubt, the carp are saved and go to places more quiet. This pond is full of very nice fish and a meticulous approach will be a key to success. Even if fishing is done on a private pond, this is not why the detectors will ring. Carp are more wary of our baits, our assemblies, so many factors that will shape much for fishing Laroussi successfully. If I have to make a fish there, I will choose baits such as small size Rahja spice, and also the Special Crab, Squid Berry 10 and 15 mm with a mixture of garlic feast. Mounts fine for the fish to a few meters before feeling a hook bitten her lip ............ Here are some factors to allow a little more luck on our side.

Although I've fished since I was five years old, carp fishing came a lot later to me. As a youngster in North Yorkshire I only knew of two or three waters with carp in them and did not have access to any of them. Carpfishing was something mysterious, read from the pages of Mr Crabtree Goes Fishing with a torch under the bed clothes. Par boiled potatoes and open bail arms with loose coils of line on a sheet of paper. All strange stuff to a seven year old but firmly lodged in my memory.
It was much much later when I moved to the Midlands and discovered the thrills of carp fishing in shallow water with anchored crust. My most memorable capture from those early days was discovering the bolt rig. Fished with frozen cubes of luncheon meat to aid the cast. My catches on my local pool rocketed from one fish a day to eight or nine, then I was really hooked

Hello Lee,
Congratulations on this series of fishing that results in a lot of fish to arrive. It is more difficult to fish in the net during this time of year. A good approach with experience over the years is often necessary. If your results the previous year in winter were a little way while this year it is just the opposite. Proof that with talent and experience some results may be beyond our wildest dreams. My preference for this period: a good mix with a stick with Rahja spice or Magnum White in editing chod rig. Or also Ron said "fluoro pop-up " as UltraBrite. BRAVO again.

Hi Pat,
It's true, we all have an unforgettable experience, a story of our first fish. It remains forever in our memories. Finally, our memories are sometimes similar. The best of all, is to have share this moment with a relative or friend. Our passion for fishing gives us some great moments of life. With much sharing of knowledge that is passed from generation to generation. Looking forward Romu

Hi Romauld,
I bet we can all remember the first carp that we caught. Mine was when i was 6 years old (thats 37 years ago now - where does the time go ?), it was a Common of 6lb 5oz that was caught on anchored floating crust and i can remember hooking and landing it myself has my Dad had gone for a walk to see his mate. Just to show how far carp fishing has now progressed, that was one of the biggest we caught that summer!

                 Cheers,
                           Pat

Nice piece Lee with some great advice. Are you sure you are not really 35:) I love playing with flavour combinations and often combine a fruity boilie with meat or fish to great effect. Fluoro baits can also be really effective fished as singles in winter when the going gets really tough.

Paste and boilie is a favourite for me. Roughening the boilie by picking off the skin helps with adhesion. The larger sized extender type boilie stops are great for soft baits such as luncheon meat and pastes too
