You really need to contact a professional netting/fish removal company for this. Electro fishing can be very dangerous to your other stock if not carried out in the proper manner. Poisson Chat are usually trapped rather than electro fished.

One thing worth mentioning about the Pineapple Crush boilies.
When we originally released these baits we only produced 20mm versions. To be extra sure the dreaded Poisson Chats would be put off.

Most of the early trials of this bait were done at Old Oaks in France near Le Mans and acrosss the road from the legendary Laroussi fishery.

The Poisson Chat or 'Poison Shits' as they are commonly known left these baits alone and the carp catches made on them by the various anglers we had fish the Pineapple Crush were nothing short of phenomenal.

Obviously after having some of the best fishing some of the anglers had ever had it was only natural for them to want to try this bait here in the U.K.

It was then that anglers started to request 15mm and 10mm versions. Always being one who tries to oblige I put these smaller baits into production then horror of horrors some anglers reported catching Poisson Chat on my Pineapple Crush boilies!

It took a while to work out what was happening here but was in fact a very obvious answer. Anglers were taking the smaller baits to France with them and the crafty little 'Chats' suddenly realised that although they dodn't like the taste of them they could swallow them - a bit like us taking certain medicational pills. Bite into them and they taste awful. Swallow them and you can't tell.

So, if you are buying Pineapple Crush boilies to avoid the Poisson Chat stick to the ones they have to chew to eat - only order the 20mm's! To further enhance the repulsion the chats seem to show the Pineapple Crush baits try feeding something the chats actually like - something like carp pellets of fish meals etc. Doing this the Poisson Chat will totally leave your Pineapple Crush baits alone.

One final thing before I sign off. I have had a few anglers tell me they have caught these dreaded little monsters in the past on other bait companies Pineapple baits. Well, you will. It isn't the actual pineapple in the bait that the pesky little fellows dislike.

Best fishes

Hi Gareth

Great advice.
I always carry a few tigers to France with me in case of poisson chat's being present.
I will be taking a 5 kilo bag of the Pineapple Crush to fall back on from now on.
One other thing that quite a few people I know do is to use the large shrink tube around the boilie, although I haven't tried this myself, I am certain it would be effective.
