Hi Ally,

Not neccessarily, fresh baits are excellent for a short period only. The moment they have de-frosted they are starting to break down and turn.

You would find it difficult to purchase human food which is cooked and totally fresh without some sort of stabilising ingredients or method involved.

How choose shelf life over frozen?

I thought frozen were fresher and therefore better?

Hi Sam,

I too stopped using fresh frozen boilies a while ago and use Shelf Life for all of my fishing.

I would say though you are better off using the Glugs over your free baits rather than the Dips. The Dips are fine for hookbaits but may be a little over powering for the free baits. The Glugs you can't really go over the top with as theyare a liquid food source rather than the concentrated form of the Hookbait Dips.
