		<description>As jamie says, it is very hard to advise when you don&#039;t know the water in question but very much what Jamie has just written i would back up myself.

It could be worth your while upping the abrasion of your hook link material to something like Kryston Quick Silver if catfish are about as theit rough pads inside their mouths make pretty short work of most materials.

I am a big fan of stringers and PVA bags whilst river fishing to ensure there is a little bait around the area of the hookbait. The Quest Baits Maximum Action Pellets are superb for river work.
