 As the name suggests, it smells just like that popular drink Bailey’s Irish Cream. It’s a beautiful blend and is the final version of a bait I've been using and perfecting since the 1990's.
Back then I was a field tester for Nash Baits. I was sent a whisky flavour to try, but felt it was much too harsh to use on its own, so I diluted it down and smoothed the taste off with a cream flavour and almond oil. I caught well from the start but interestingly the other field testers had very little success with it. I'd been the only one to blend it, which was obviously to the carps liking. Eventually it was released and the rest is history - 1,000's of carp realised they loved a drop of whisky!

There was no way I could release a range of baits without its inclusion. I’ve always used it on a bird food base mix but I now have additional ingredients at my disposal that I didn't have then. I'm absolutely delighted with the mix we’re using now – it’s certainly the best version I’ve come up with so far.
The essence of the base mix is my own personal winter base mix. This base has caught me literally hundreds of winter carp. I was using a variation of it right back in the early 1980’s! I’ve now added a few more modern ingredients and the result is an exceptional bait.
It’s smooth textured with excellent flavour release. The pale colour is due to the milk protein, vegetable protein and blended bird food and these ingredients result in a bait which is very easy for the carp to digest, pass through their system and come back looking for more.
But please don’t label Irish Cream as just a winter bait. It’s high digestability and instant attraction make it effective on runs waters during the summer and more difficult lakes where you don’t have the time to establish a bait.
So, if you’re looking for something really different, then look no further.
